Welcome to my new blog. Will be writing about living in Texas, our history, our background. So many of my thoughts are always surrounding my children, and grandchildren … the dramas, the protective love that we Grandma bears have, and just the regular everyday living we do. The highs, The lows, and all the in-betweens. To be a southern older woman, is to know the joys of cold iced tea on a hot day after working in the yard, the smell of the morning when the dew is still on the ground, the smell of bacon cooking, that still lingers on even into the next day, every single holiday, and the whispers of nature … how it speaks to us, heals us, supports us.
